கோவை மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் திரு. கிராந்தி குமார் அவர்கள், சப் கலெக்டர் மிஸ் கேத்தரின் சரண்யா அவர்கள் மற்றும் வாகை சேவை அறக்கட்டளை எம்.ரவிச்சந்திரன் ஆகியோர் பழங்குடியின மக்களுடன் பொங்கல் பண்டிகையை கொண்டாடினர். மற்றும் குடியிருப்பு பகுதிகளை பார்வையிட்டார். அப்போது அவர் மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் அந்த மக்களுக்கு சேலை மற்றும் வேட்டியை பரிசாக வழங்கினார். மேலும், பழங்குடியினர் நலத்திட்டத்தின் கீழ் வீடு கட்ட சில ஆலோசனைகளையும் வழங்கினார்.
Mr. kranthi Kumar , the district collector of Coimbatore, Miss Catharine Saranya , the sub collector, and M. Ravichandran, the vagai sevai trust, celebrated the Pongal festival with the tribal people and visited their resident areas.
He gladly gave the saree and dhoti to those people at the time. He also gave some suggestions for building a home through Tribal Welfare Scheme.
